Choosing the Right Hair Color for Your Full Lace Wig

While choosing the hair color of your new full lace wig you should consider the shape of face, complexion and the season of the year. Choosing the color of your lace wig hair can be fun.

HOT TIPS!

If you are choosing the lace wig color from a magazine then you need to remember that there will be a slight difference between the color from the picture and the actual hair in a lace wig. This is because photographers use special lighting, which make the color appear brighter than they really are.

If you are not sure about what color to get, it is best to buy a color ring from your lace wig manufacturer so that you may see the actual colors next to your face.

Following is the recommended guide in choosing the right hair color.

To make it easier to understand, I like to categorize lace front wigs customers into four different categories, according to the color of the seasons. You will understand immediately why I have chosen to do so.

Summer – The people in this group would have pale eyes – blue or gray, light to medium hair color and pale complexion with cool skin undertones (red or blue). Some of the important personalities in this group are Andre Birleanu and Maria Sharapova. Summer hair colors include: light blonde, platinum blonde, pale ash brown, and ash blonde color.

Spring – This color season would include people with pale eyes – usually blue, green or hazel, light to medium hair color, and pale complexion with warm skin undertones (golden or yellow). Some of the important personalities in this group are Justin Timberlake and Anna Kournikova. Spring hair colors include: ginger, auburn, and honey blonde, golden blonde and light brown.

Winter – The people in this group would have pale or dark eyes – blue, gray, brown, black, medium to dark hair color and either very pale or very dark complexion with cool skin undertones (red or blue). Some of the important personalities in this group are Seal and Keanu Reeves. Winter hair colors are silver/gray, ash black brown and black.

Autumn – This color season would include people with pale or dark eyes – blue, green, light-dark brown, black, medium to dark hair color and medium – dark complexion with warm skin undertones (golden or yellow). Some of the important personalities in this group are Gabrielle Union and Jennifer Aniston. Autumn hair colors include: chestnut brown, black, chocolate brown, and medium to dark brown.

Let us now see the recommended options for each of these groups. It is important to note that everyone is different and it is always best to choose the color that you feel is best for you and that you feel most comfortable with. Remember that the above recommendations should only be used as a guide and not as a must-do task.

Summer – a natural blonde color will be the most appropriate color for this group. Other options are ash or platinum blonde highlights.

Spring – a warm blonde golden color would work wonders on you. Those with light ginger hair should try chocolate brown instead. Avoid very light blonde shades as it might contrast with your complexion.

Winter – ash black brown or black can be two excellent choices of color for this group. Avoid shades of blonde and golden colors or if you must, limit it to just highlights.

Autumn – medium brown and dark brown are ideal. Red and copper can do wonders and create spectacular looks. Avoid shades of blonde.
